I had a request for a tour of the neighborhood, so here are a few shots of the houses and businesses. I’ve marked off the homes and a few of the lots so you can see how they’re laid out in the neighborhood.
An overview of the main part of town, with only occupied homes listed. There are bigger, more expensive homes on a hill looking over everything else, but since no one lives there yet I didn’t take any pictures of those (although you can see a couple of them to the left in this photo). I’ve marked off all of the occupied lots, except one little plumbob you can see that I didn’t put a name on. That’s where Iris Revenue, who collects payments for various things, lives. She doesn’t get played, she’s just put on an empty lot and my other Sims send checks to her.
I’ve tried to set up the town so that the businesses are in the middle with homes on the outskirts.
Looking down the street straight toward Dave’s business, The Times & Cafe. Actually, I just realized I labeled this picture wrong and I don’t have the original with me right now to fix it. The green house shouldn’t be labeled Lloyd 2. The house labeled Craig should be labeled Lloyd 2 and then the house on the other side of it that we can just barely see should be labeled Craig. And also, “retirement” is spelled wrong. I’ll fix all of that tonight.
More houses and businesses.
You can see some of the more expensive homes up on the hill in the background. BJ’s Pizza is where everyone goes bowling.
This is First Street, the road leading into Pine Hollow from across the canyon that it sits along.
There are a few community lots in the pictures that I didn’t label because they’ve never really been set up to be anything in particular. They’re basically placeholders for future business lots that may be needed.
Here is the original tour post I did when I started this blog.
As always, if there’s a specific lot you’d like to see a full tour of (home or business), let me know! I download lots instead of building them from scratch, but I always remodel and redecorate to suit my needs so the lots are never exactly what the downloaded lot started out as.
Your town is awesome! It’s so beautiful and detailed!
Wow! I’m wish mine was that cozy. I love the expensive houses on the top. 🙂
Wow, that was awesome :]
I love the town!
Holy Smokes! That’s a busy town! I love the idea of having all the businesses in the middle, and making the houses on the edges. Gives the business area a ‘downtown’ feeling, like when visiting a plaza or some such.
Thank you so much for the overview!
love your town, i would want to see a tour of the performance hall, the school, and city hall!
Wow, I love your hood. Looks cute and cosy, just like a small town. 🙂
