Gaming is serious business in this family! Eric Lloyd loves when his children come over to visit after school and weekends. Ian Lloyd is old enough now that he comes and goes whenever he wants, and lately he’s spending a lot of time at his dad’s house. Madison Craig comes over whenever she can to get away from her new little brother, “the usurper,” as she continues to call him.

Glenda Craig is so happy to have her grandson living in her house now. “A child belongs with both parents,” she had constantly told Marcus. Finally, Jill and Lucas had moved in and the wedding was set for that afternoon. Glenda couldn’t be happier. Well, she could have been a bit happier if she found out that Marcus and Jill were having another baby or if Jessica suddenly announces her engagement, but neither seems likely.

Nathan Gates really hates his brother Todd. While Todd is off at college, partying and meeting all kinds of girls (or so Nathan believes that’s what everyone at college does), Nathan is stuck at home for a little longer. Which means that Nathan gets the fun of helping out in the garden.

“This could be considered child labor, you know,” Nathan grumbles to his parents, even though he’s nearly an adult. “You’re lucky I don’t report you!” Just then, the sprinkler turns on, spraying Nathan and soaking his leg. “Ahh! I hate gardening!”

My blog hit the 1,000 comments mark! (Although, granted, 10 are spam. So we’ll have a “real” 1000th comment after just 8 more.) Wow! Thank you all so much for reading and commenting! This blog would be just me writing to amuse myself if it weren’t for all of you. 🙂

So we’re starting Round 12 in Pine Hollow and that means new random occurrences.

  • Win a small prize in the lottery. The random roll decided on $180. (That is a very small prize in the Sim world! LOL)
  • Buy a vacation home. Take out loan if needed. (A loan will definitely be needed.)
  • Cosmetic surgery. Sim suddenly feels a desire for a new look. Deduct $700 for cost of surgery. (Hmm…)

A little longer

Hi everyone. I’m sorry to say I’ll be away from this blog a bit longer than I had intended. My grandmother passed away suddenly last night. Thanks for understanding and I’ll be back when I can.
